Technological changes in today's world come from the combination of a new technoscientific revolution, a new paradigm of modes of cooperation between humans and machines and a transition to a more creative economy:

a digital transformation like a new industrial revolution;

a circular economy as a new production model;

an economy of use and functionality.

This transformation must be understood by political, economic and social actors in order to make new technological innovations a tool at the service of development and the “well-being” sought by populations.

Algeria has the assets to implement such a strategy, on the condition, like any country, of mobilizing them and putting them into perspective. Indeed, it is not so much a question of knowing what tomorrow will be, as of designing the future that we want to build. This is why the role of nations and of coordination is fundamental, because there is a risk of moving towards an extremely large gap between the perception of people's daily life and technological progress. This is the great difficulty of technological change that we are experiencing today, but this change should not be experienced as a crisis, because it is not.

The main challenge for this country is the transition from a self-centered model based on oil and gas revenues, to a decentralized model promoting entrepreneurship in the service of the needs of society and the territories.
